Vacuum Excavation
Vacuum excavators are used for potholing to locate utilities prior to drilling, which enables design build, and to suction drill slurry as necessary during the direction drilling process.
Our vacuum excavation staff has some of the best knowledge of utility locating, combined with many years of experience with multiple levels of expertise among employee's, as well as powerful equipment to get the job done. Sage's vacuum excavation team has adheres to standards when locating in various types of conditions, (i.e. hard surfaces we provide an 8" core drill and a depth of 15"). Our soft potholing can include various types of depths and trenches to ensure proper location and identification. In addition, our team can locate in Back Easement, with lengths from 150" to 200", beginning at front of lot or right of way. The equipment we use is perfect for most vacuum excavation needs. Our units have water tanks that provide up to 200 gallons, as well as mud/slurry tanks with a capacity of 800 gallons. We also use a variety of high pressure water tips with oscillating tips for various types of job requirements, to ensure a swift yet safe job completion. We also provide detailed logs of utility locations and identities. |
